Smash Factor Indoor Golf & Bar ("we", "us") operates smashfactor.com.au and the venue at 85 Keira St, Wollongong NSW 2500. This policy explains what we collect, why we collect it, and what you can do about it.

What we collect

• When you book. Name, email, phone number and payment details, collected through our booking provider ROLLER. We do not store your card details ourselves.
• When you enquire. Whatever you put in a contact or group enquiry form, typically name, email, phone, company, and details of the event you are planning.
• When you enquire through a social media ad. If you submit a form inside Facebook or Instagram, we receive the details you chose to share on that form.
• When you become a member. The above, plus your membership tier and your Golf Australia handicap details.
• When you visit the website. Pages viewed, approximate location, device and browser, and how you arrived. Collected through cookies and similar technologies.

Why we collect it

To take and manage your booking, run your membership, answer your enquiry, send you information you have asked for, meet our legal and tax obligations, and understand how people find and use the site so we can improve it.

Marketing

If you book or enquire, we may send you offers and news about Smash Factor. Every message has an unsubscribe link and we will act on it. You can also email us and we will take you off the list.

Who we share it with

We share what is necessary with the services that run the business: our booking platform (ROLLER), our email and payment providers, and our website host. We do not sell your information.

Advertising and analytics

We use Google Analytics, Google Ads and the Meta Pixel. These place cookies and send limited information about your visit, such as pages viewed and whether you started a booking, to Google and to Meta. That lets us measure whether our advertising works and show ads to people likely to be interested.

We also use customer contact details to reach past customers with advertising. Where we do this, your email address or phone number is converted into a scrambled code before it leaves us, matched against the advertising platform's own records, and used only to decide who sees our ads. It is not used to contact you outside the platform and is not given to other advertisers.

You can opt out through Google's Ads Settings, Meta's ad preferences, or your browser's cookie controls. You can also email us and we will exclude you from this entirely.

How long we keep it

As long as we need it for the purpose we collected it, and as long as the law requires. Financial records are kept for seven years. After that we delete it or de-identify it.

Security

We take reasonable steps to protect your information. No system is perfect, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your choices

Email us to ask what we hold about you, correct it, or ask us to delete it. We will respond within a reasonable time and may need to verify who you are first.

Complaints

Email us first and we will try to sort it out. If you are not satisfied, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
